MY THESIS STATEMENT

I think its much easier to reflect on a story with a prompt because it gives you more of an idea of what you should be writing about. I see it as an outline to help us out. Although it can also restrict our writing because were used to so many teachers telling us that our writing has to be done again because it doesn't follow the prompt. Sometimes when we do write we need an outline and sometimes we don't because it depends on how much we think we can actually write about a topic. With Young Goodman Brown I think I might need an outline. A topic essay could be about how you either see the good or bad or about how you don't see a different perspective on people because you see what you want to see not what things actually are.
