NOW I REMEMBER
Richard Cory is a pretty long poem to memorize. It also takes a very deep and somewhat sad turn towards the end of the poem. The way in which I memorized it was by putting a picture of the poem as my lock screen on my phone. I did this because I always look at my phone and this was a way in which it reminded me that I had to memorize it in the first place. And at the same time every time I looked at my phone I told myself to read at least a couple of lines. Then I also repeated the poem out loud and I made a picture in my head of the poem. Another way that helped me was when I said it out loud and Elva corrected me when ever I made a mistake and when I repeated it I remember more of her telling me what I did wrong and then I remember what the correct part is. This is what made it easier for me to memorize the poem.
